Buddypress is a plugin that attaches to your WordPress Blog and allows you to customization it with a preloaded skin or a completely custom one. You can then expand on the features by installing Buddypress exclusive plugins. Buddypress Plugins include items like BP Image plus which will allow your users to upload and share media, or BP Invite which lets your users share your site with friends.
