I created Almightyphilly.com for Adam Smith, a passionate Philadelphia Sports blog writer. Adam contacted me looking to take his old wordpress.com hosted site and create a hosted version of WordPress with his own personal theme and turn it from a blog into a possible career. Adam wanted the ability to have his viewers interact with not only himself, but with each other. I found this the perfect opportunity to use Buddypress. Buddypress is a great tool which turns an ordinary WordPress install into a powerful user community.
I created this theme based off of CSS3 and Html5 elements, it really is on the cutting edge of Web 2.0. My favorite part of this job was actually being able to read the terrific content that Smitty posts on the site on a daily basis, I personally am a Philadelphia Sports fan so this was a marvelous opportunity to have some fun with his design!
